VIJAY'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!
The producer and director of Vijay’s Velayudham, Aascar Ravichandran and Jayam Raja respectively are keen to release the film on his birthday, which falls on June 22nd. Almost 80 per cent of the film is completed and those who have seen the rushes are gushing about it. The action, dance, and music is simply astounding, it seems.
Genelia and Hansika will play the lovely lasses on either arm of our hero. Genelia will be an intrepid reporter in Velayudham and has a very interesting role. Vijay is going to do the role of a milkman in this film, reminiscent of Superstar in Annamalai. It must be said that he makes a very good looking milkman!

KO -QUICK MOVIE REVIEW
CAST- CAMERA,JIIVA,AJMAL,KARTHIKA,PIA,etc.
DIRECTION-K.V.ANAND
PRODUCTION-R.S INFOTAINTMENT
RATING- 8.0/10 ( a stylish entertainer)
VERDICT - GO FOR THIS ONE...A VISUAL TREAT AND A STUNNING ENTERTAINER
The movie starts with a bank robbery..and we people might think that the hero will come fight them...but, yes he comes but just clicks photos of them and the way he does is different. The first hero of the movie is camera which is evident from the opening credits.Jiiva and Ajmal have both done a wonderful job...I think that no one except jiiva could have played the role better.
Now,coming to the plot of the movie its about a young politician Ajmal and a photo-journalist Jiiva with a lot of twist and turns..added to it.Both the heroines have a good role to play...Prakash Raj could have been used a little more...The picturisation and location of the songs need a special mention. Some of the songs are not properly placed..and they sound or give the feeling of already been heard somewhere..
Thus, overall except a few minor issues the movie is an stylish and intelligent commercial entertainer..with a stunning climax...Watch the movie and know the rest.

"VISWAROOBAM" KAMAL-SELVA PROJECT TO BE STALLED!
Selvaraghavan was very much excited as he got a ‘Big Ticket’ to work with Kamal Haasan. Even with the producers turning up to their calls, everything sounded perfect until they were rejected with ‘VISA’ to United States of America. Having tried their luck across various sources, finally they seemed to have stalled their project for some time.
With few portions left to be completed for ‘Erandam Ulagam’, Selvaraghavan has decided to resume the shooting from next as Dhanush will be free for sometime as his ‘Vengai’ is complete. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is busy watching Malayalam movie ‘Traffic’ and is planning to remake it in Tamil under his home banner in collaboration with UTV Motion Pictures.

ARYA SAYS NO TO BHOOPATHY PANDIAN
We heard sometime back that director Boopathi Pandian, who was about to make a film with Vishal, parted ways with the actor and was planning to start the project with Arya playing the lead role.
However, Arya has politely refused the offer, since he didn’t want to snatch a role penned for his good friend Vishal. Remember both are close pals for more than a decade and have acted together in Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’.
“Boopathi Pandian narrated the story to me and it was interesting too. But it’s not ethical for me to do the film, since the script was written with Vishal in the mind,” says the ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’ actor.
Arya is riding high on a success wave thanks to back to back hits with ‘Madraspattinam’ and ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’. “I am eagerly looking forward for the release of ‘Avan Ivan’. Bala sir is a genius,” he says.
AMALA PAUL IS A TEACHER!
Amala Paul is playing a teacher to students with special needs in ‘Deiva Thirumagan’, Vikram’s forthcoming release directed by Vijay. “It’s mature, composed, pretty and stylish role,” we learn.
“She has done a very good job. It is a total transformation for Amala from her role in ‘Mynaa’. Vikram and Vijay are all praise for the actress for her performance,” circles close to the unit say.
Meanwhile, ‘Vikatakavi’, the debut venture of Amala Paul, is finally ready to hit the screens. Directed by G Krishnan, a major portion of the movie was shot in and around Madurai.
”It was Amala Paul’s first film. However due to some delays, it is releasing only now. She is a thorough professional and we knew she would make it big when we did shooting”, says Krishnan.
'VAANAM 'CONFIRMED FOR APRIL 29 RELEASE!
Following the huge success of ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’, young superstar Silambarasan has completed working on his next project ‘Vaanam’. Directed by Krish, the film is a remake of Telugu movie ‘Vedam’ that is acclaimed as the trendsetter of Telugu film industry.
The post production works are close on the heels of completion and producer Ganesh is trying to master each print with rich quality as it was done for ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’. The film’s music is already making high waves in stores for almost all the songs are topping the charts.
‘Vaanam’ is a multi-starrer project starring Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka, Saranya, Prakash Raj and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles. The producers of Cloud Nine Movies, VTV Productions and Magic Box Pictures have decided to release the film worldwide on April 29.
VIETNAMESE STAR IN 7am ARIVU !
Vietnamese star, Johnny T Nguyen, will play the villain in AR Murugadoss’s film 7aam Arivu, which has Suriya in the lead. The actor has made his mark in American films and television shows and is also a martial artist par excellence, proficient in Lien Feng Kwon, Vovinam, Wushu, Taekwondo, and Tai Chi.
The director is delighted with his find doing a magnificent job. As an action star, Johnny is a dream come true. The stunt sequences in this movie are crucial and have turned out something special as the makers have spent a lot to make them authentic. Fight scenes between Suriya and Johnny are going to be a treat to watch.

NANBAN TEAM BACK IN COLLEGE!
Shankar is determined to finish Nanban in record time. The third schedule of the film commenced recently with important scenes being filmed in Sri Sairam Engineering College. Once this is done, the songs will be shot in foreign locations which Shankar has picked out himself as they are the trademark features of his films. London, Spain, and Andaman Islands have been decided on.
Harris Jayaraj is doing the music which is likely to be released in August so that Nanban can have a Diwali release. Shankar wants to stay true to the original version (3 Idiots) while deftly incorporating changes to suit the regional palate. It is definitely a film to watch out for.
